The Work Involves:

• Ensuring that our products are thoroughly enjoyable for kids, without the distractions of crashes, bugs, or any other things that annoy them
• Ensuring that our internal systems are well-tested, prioritizing bugs and issues, and working with the product team to get them fixed.
• Automating tests, wherever necessary, to reduce repetitive work.
• Understanding user needs, and making sure that the app functionality actually achieves this. Rather than just testing to design, testing to whether the end user needs are really met.
• Reporting and tracking bugs to closure, or triaging them for dev.
• Working with support to understand repetitive support issues and helping reproduce prod bugs/issues.
• Doing whatever else is needed to meet the quality goals we have. (identifying patterns, putting in best practices, working with the support team to get more data from customers, etc).

Requirements:

Must Haves

• Good understanding of how to create good Test plan, test cases and bug reports.
• Good knowledge of SQL and at least one database
• Should be familiar with basic test patterns and when to use what.
• Practical testing experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of MAC, UNIX or Linux systems
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills
• Open to learning new skills
• Strong work ethic and discipline to able to work remotely

Good To Haves

• Exposure to using Analytics tools.
• Exposure to Unity.
• Any game-testing experience
• Any mobile app testing experience.
• Remote working experience
